Back to school Aug. 17th 2015

The kids were all sick the week before school but luckly by Tuesday they were all healthy and ready to go.
Sydney started 6th grade and Steven-5th , Tori -2nd and Reese - Kindergarten.  I decided to homeschool Reese because I was sure how she would do with the full day every other day schedule.  It was hard on Steven and just to get him to go to school was a battle everyday and it broke my heart to see him so upset about leaving me.  It was really fun doing school 2 hours a day with Reese and to watch her learn was awesome! She picked up quickly and could count to 100, recognize most all the letters and sounds, Write her name correctly and recognize numbers.  But after about a month I was getting bored (she was asking when she could go to school and said she wanted to)  and didn't have time to be creative with her learning, so I decided to enroll her right before all the holiday parties hoping that would help her adjust.  I started her in half days (the district let me do this) but I wasn't able to get her in the class with her friends.  I was really hesitant , but the two 1/2 days she went she did great and loved it.  She had asked me when she could do full days.  So we started full days the next week and she did great!!

Harper loved the neighbors dog.  She would go over and try to grab her face and talk to her and  the dog would get annoyed and get up and walk away but harper kept following her.

The little girls started gymnastics at Advanced. Tori and Reese were in one class 4:30-5:30
and Sydney was in the older girls tumbling class with some girls from church @7:30-8:30.  They just finished their 10 week course and are now taking a break. Sydney is in Dance still on day a week along with Activity days
Steven also Started Tong too do and has been doing it since Sept. and also scouts
