This year Steve had to work both Sat. and Sunday but worked it out so we had Sat. morning and Sunday afternoon/evening with him. We did the usual easter egg hunt in the backyard, dyed eggs, and in the morning the kids found their baskets and stuffed their faces as fast as they could before we stopped them. We werent able to go to church in the morning because Sydney and Steven had colds and Steve was at work. But we had a nice ham dinner and a huge costco strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

Robie Creek
Before the race: (yeah all smiles now)
During the race: (not so smiley anymore)
Steve participated in the Robie Creek 1/2 marathon a couple weekends ago. It is suppose to be the hardest race in the NW. Steve says it was Brutal. We werent able to go watch him because it was up in the mountains and you had to take a bus and I wasnt about to go up there with 4 kids for who knows how long...anyways. Steve did amazing and his time was 1:43. He ranked 84th out 2500. This race sold out in 20 mins. on the internet and Steve didnt get in the first time, but he entered in their lottery where they pick 200 names and lucky enough got in. He is now ready to run a full marathon and cant wait.....You runners are ADDICTED!! :)

Mom and Dad visit.....Anniversary 8 and sleeping beauties
Tori and Reese asleep in our bed one morning. Most of the time Tori wakes up and comes in our room in the morning to snuggle and then is up and ready to go, but this morning she went right back to sleep. Something I will miss as the kids get older, snuggling in bed...especially my babies!!
8 year anniversary. We had an awesome day together!
Mom came for a short visit with Dad while he did some business in Boise. It was great to spend time with them and the kids enjoyed every second they were here. One thing they do not like about living in Idaho is that we are too far away from their Grandmas and Grandpas. I didnt remember to pull out the camera until the day Sydney was at school..of course.
