So we had packers and movers at our house for 3 days before we actually moved. It was a very busy and stressful week to say the least. Having to live with boxes piled 6 ft. high and try to save out stuff to live on for a few days, and having to say good bye to all our great friends while dealing with "all day sickness" was crazy!! It was one of the biggest emotional rollercoasters Ive ever been on! In fact on the day we loaded up the house I had a full blown Migraine ( Dizzy, vomit, spots,) I had to find a blanket and curl up in a room for a couple hours and bury my head just to get a little relief.
I worried about the kids, our family, a lot wondering if this was going to be ok, but there was no way we could pass such a great promotion for Steve. He has worked very hard to be where he is at now and Im so proud of the guy!
Once we said goodbye to our friends on Friday we stayed the night in Boise. Steve and Steven left at 5am the next morning so they could meet the movers to start unloading. The girls and I left at around 9 and headed to Idaho Falls. I was a little nervous to drive 4 1/2 with the 3 of them but they did great!
Seeing boxes everywhere was very overwhelming knowing that we had to unpack and set up everything..and I was a little stressed because Steve was going to be leaving me again to go on a business trip to Vegas in 1 week.
But we managed to set up most of the house and finish the rest when he got back. We have set up as best we can for now, and I can finally post some pics. The weather is just getting warm so the kids can play outside during their spring break.
They have been adjusting the best they can and still miss their friends in Nampa. There are a ton of LDS people here so it makes it a little easier for them...I think.
