oops forgot Thanksgiving and other happenings!

I got to paint ALL my little girls toes, it was so fun! They love getting nails painted!

We got all the Christmas decorations up and the tree. Tori got to put the star on this year (good thing Steve's been working out! She is about... what 40 pounds now????!)

Reese is getting big too fast! She has only one tooth and isnt crawling yet, but she still manages to scoot and roll around to where she wants to go.

Steve finally got a car that wasnt a thousand years old or issues. He is SOOO happy and loves his car. Perfect for commuting to Boise everyday!

We had our own little family Thanksgiving this year because Steve always has to work Wed. and Friday. It was a lot of fun and Steve and I have always wanted to have our own Thanksgiving. We love being with family and friends but its nice to have these times to start new traditions and grow closer. It was fun! Its so funny because I always think Im going to have to cook all this stuff, but Steve always come on in and starts cooking like he owns the joint. JK! He loves helping me and I love him helping me...that way if something doesnt turn out he cant blame it all on me ;). Ha!

Tori's 3rd Birthday!

Tori's birthday was on a Wednesday this year so both Sydney and Steven went to school (unwillingly....they thought since it was Tori's birthday they should have the day off....haha YEAH RIGHT!) But we did let her open her present before they left. Then I needed to get my hair cut so we all went and Steve took the little girls next store and got hot chocolate and cookies. Then we went and picked up Tori's PINK cake (because everything HAS to be PINK these days...she even asked if we could make her skin pink......hmm) So then we took her down the street to Jumpin' Jungle. She LOVED all the one on one attention from both of us. And it was pretty nice just to focus on her for half the day. When it was time to go get the kids from school we picked them up and headed to Texas Roadhouse (Tori's birthday dinner request). After dinner we came home sang Happy Birthday and ate cake. Tori was so tired that night that she went straight to sleep!

Snow Day!

It snowed here the other day about 8 inches!! It was so awesome. They even canceled school which is rare around here. The kids and I went outside (except Tori and Reese) and built a snowman. Steve still had to work. It took him an hour and a half to get work which usually only takes 30 min. We had lots of FUN!

Sydney turns 7!!!

This year Sydney wanted to get her ears pierced and so we let her invite one friend, Kaiya, to go with us. She did really good! She was nervous at first, but didnt cry. Then we did our usual stop at Red Robins and frozen yogurt. On Sunday was her offical birthday so we just took it easy going to church and making Sydneys favorite dinner followed by cake.

Swimming lessons

I finally got Sydney and Steven into Swim lessons down at the REC center. They both went at the same time every Tuesday/Thursday for 1/2 hr. for 5 weeks. They both are more comfortable in water, but Steven wouldnt jump off the diving board or even go down the slide on his teachers lap. Sydney well she was another story. She LOVED jumping off the diving board and swinging off the rope!

See Steve run......

>

About 11 months ago Steve decided to start running again. He hadn't ran since High School, but hit his low when he topped the scales at 180!!! LOL!! He has been running a lot, playing basketball at the church and just finished his 1st 1/2 marathon. I was pretty impressed, he actually finished the race and did pretty good (for what he thought he could do). He finished 51st out of 1024. He is down to 150 and in the best shape Ive ever seen him in. Too bad he hasnt rubbed off on me yet....maybe when the kids are older and I have more time!!!!
Here is a Before and After of Steve

Old Buds!

Brittny and Aaron Stevens were passing thru, with their sweet little kids June and Logan, and we got to visit with them at the park. It was soooooooo fun to see them! Aaron was a good swing pusher....lol just ask Steven! June and Logan are so sweet and my kids really enjoyed them. I love seeing Brittny we have so much fun together. She makes me laugh!

Halloween with the Kanooth's

umm Rachel made me dress up.....but I cant blame that face all on her!!

We went to Washington for a super quick trip to see Leif and Rachel and there adorable little twins; Micah and Savannah. We got to be there for their baby blessing and the kids got to spend Halloween with all their cousins (except for Westin and Jade who were missed a lot)! We were happy to squeeze in visits to Grandpa Brooks and Grandma Suzie, too. We had a wonderful time with family and it was hard....REALLY hard to go home since we dont know when we will get to see Leif, Rachel, Savannah and Micah twins again.
