As soon as school got out for the kids, Steve began prepping the house for new paint and worked every spare minute he had on it. It took him about 3 weeks to get it all ready. He also re-stained the fence and added bat and board gables.
Here's the house in Oct. '09
(when we moved in) In progress
And the finished product! Good Job Steve-O!!
Steve has also been helping coach Stevens T-ball team. This is Stevens first year @ Tball and may I just say how boring it is compared to the action packed sport WRESTLING! But I guess he will never know what he likes unless he tries it first.
Earlier this month Grandma and Grandpa came for a short visit. The night they got here Reese didn't want Grandma at all but when she saw Grandpa she put out her arms and did this....
One of the days they were here we took them to Silver City, Id which is an old abandoned mining town with lots of old remaining buildings and history.
The next day we went to the Birds of Prey exhibit and walked on the green belt down the road.
Also while Mom and Dad were here, Steve and I got to go on a DATE! We got some food at Qudoba and some candy for the show at Fast Eddys (love that place) and then headed to see The Avengers! It was so nice! Thanks Mom and Dad!
The next week the weather warmed up a bit and the kids were able to play in the water!
FATHERS DAY!
The kids had fun making Dad a paper weight with their pictures on it and homemade cards...along with a variety of Reeses.
Jump Creek
Yesterday we went on an amazing hike to Jump Creek. Its this really cool trail to a waterfall inside a canyon. It was a little freaky knowing we were in rattle snake country but it was fun and the only little creatures we saw were a lizard and a dragonfly.

The house looks great. I think you could fit our apt inside your garage.
