Monster trucks!!

Steve took Steven out for some "Male Bonding" to see the Monster trucks that were in town. Steven LOVED it!! He already had a bunch of the monster trucks at home, so it was fun for him to see them in real life. His favorites were Captain America and Grave Digger.

Reesey-Roo turns 1

All "Tangled" up in turning 1. I cant believe how fast this last year has gone. I've been dreading it, knowing this probably is my last little baby. But Im trying not to feel sad and be happy while watching her learn new things and grow. We did have a fun day celebrating together as a family. When Reese woke up we gave her her "Princess
Cozy Coupe" which is still a little big for her, but the older kids love playing with it. They also love to push Reese around in it. She screams in excitment..literally! So then we headed to lunch at Applebees, then to Jabbers (a fun a place for kids to play) then we back home for pizza(I think we eat a lot of pizza.....) and cake! I was looking forward to her diving into it like Steven did when he was 1, but no such luck! She didnt like it one bit, just like her older sistas! They just dont like to get all messy.....and can you blame them ;) So we all ate her cake! Then we watched Tangled since that was Reese's Birthday theme and they hadnt seen it yet. Yes Brittny I took your advises and went and got it (well rented) :) . Such a cute movie!! Here are some pictures of our day. Thanks everyone for your sweet birthday wishes. Thanks Rachel for the cute tutu! Reese WILL love it...she just isnt used to that kind of material yet...lol she kept tryin to pull it off.

Valentines Day!

Steve got me (us...HIM...lol) a little edible arrangement. He knows I prefer food over flowers any day!

Tori and I made cookies the night before.

So for Valentines day we did our usual wake up and go on a treasure hunt tradition. It was mainly Steven and Sydney running around trying to find clues because Tori was still not awake. Then after breakfast Sydney and Steven headed to school all excited for their Valentines Day parties in their classes. Steve had the day OFF which never happens and I was sooo happy because Im usually all alone on Vday. So Steve and I and the little girls all went out to the Good Wood...whick is a realy nice BBQin restaurant. Then we went to Syds and Stevens class for their parties. After that we went home, ate vday candy ,had pizza (but not the pmurphy heart shaped one..lol) rented some movies ( Valentines Day...love that movie!!!)and had a great day!

It must be the time of year....tex return season! LOL! I finally decided to redo our bedroom. It was fun, but Im a wreck when it comes to decorating. I have a vision and I can never get it just right! Oh Well! I couldnt find a bedding set that was just right so I ended up getting this white down comforter and I love it..its SUPER soft and cozy!

Steven's Wrestling Tournament (Actual wrestling!)

On the last day of Stevens wrestling camp they held a tournament where they didnt keep score and declared EVERYONE a winner. Of course because half the kids still didnt know what they were doing in a real match. It was really cute though to see Steven out there wrestling. He liked it more than the practice of course but is still pretty timid about these kinds of things that put him out of his comfort zone. He did pretty good and wrestled about 8 matches that were only a couple minutes each. He had a good match up against his buddy, Payton, from school. Steven is always coming home from school telling me that "Payton is so fast! He is faster than me!" He is really athletic and outgoing and he pretty much worked Steven over the first matched they wrestled. Then Steven realized he kinda lost against him and did SO much better the next time. He told me he just got really angry (like thee incredible hulk) but not like he hated him so he would wrestle better. LOL! Here is the second match against Payton

Stevens wrestling practice!!!

You cant really see him, but he is wearing red shorts in the back. Steven started his first wrestling camp and just had their first practice last night. It started out a bit rough in the beginnging when they had to warm up with all the big kids (Steven started crying.....yeah..he was afraid of the big guys.) Once they broke off into partners and started learning take downs Steven loved it! I am SOOO excited!! I have been waiting so long for this. Lets just hope he loves it as much as I do and does well...lol!

Moms Birthday!

Im glad we got to be with my mom on her birthday and I even got to make her cake this year.

I didnt realize that most all our picture from our trip are on Steve's phone, but here are a few.
We got to see Grandpa before he past and are thankful he held on long enough for us to say goodbye.

It was a good visit. Its always so exhausting but well worth it.

Christmas togetherness!

It was a pretty relaxing Christmas. We were getting ready to head up to Washington the next day so we just hung out, ate, and played.



The kids got to open their Christmas PJ's on Christmas Eve and then they made sure the cookies and milk were set out for Santa w/ a note. Steven came down stairs at 11pm and saw that "Santa had already came" and he couldnt go back to sleep. He said he couldnt stop smiling.

Grandpa Kanooth

I got to paint ALL my little girls toes, it was so fun! They love getting nails painted!



We got all the Christmas decorations up and the tree. Tori got to put the star on this year (good thing Steve's been working out! She is about... what 40 pounds now????!)


Reese is getting big too fast! She has only one tooth and isnt crawling yet, but she still manages to scoot and roll around to where she wants to go.


Steve finally got a car that wasnt a thousand years old or issues. He is SOOO happy and loves his car. Perfect for commuting to Boise everyday!





We had our own little family Thanksgiving this year because Steve always has to work Wed. and Friday. It was a lot of fun and Steve and I have always wanted to have our own Thanksgiving. We love being with family and friends but its nice to have these times to start new traditions and grow closer. It was fun! Its so funny because I always think Im going to have to cook all this stuff, but Steve always come on in and starts cooking like he owns the joint. JK! He loves helping me and I love him helping me...that way if something doesnt turn out he cant blame it all on me ;). Ha!
