Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice!

Yesterday we found out that will be having our 3rd daughter. We are all really excited....well Steven is getting there. He still really wanted a little brother, but is getting used to the idea that he is just meant to have little sisters to protect. They made a neat little dvd for us, where the baby was putting her thumb up (it was really cute!), but I couldnt get it up on here.

Spirit week

Wild hair day

Sports day

Sydney's school had a couple of days for Spirit week and she was really excited to participate. So the first day was sports day and she was a cheerleader (her costume from when she was 2. She loves it and keeps trying to squeeze into it). The next day was wild hair day and then black and orange day...which I didnt get a picture of.

Halloween '09

For Halloween Grandma and Papa Kanooth were here. It was nice having some family around for the kids on Halloween. We did the church trunk or treat earlier in the day and then took the kids out to about 4 neighborhoods that night...and Tori went to all but one. She tried to keep up with her brother and sister, but of course she couldnt. We all took turns carrying her and catching her up to the others. It was a really fun night!

Carmel apples and pumpkin carving!

Of course my camera was dead when we went to the pumpkin patch, but I did get it charged in time to carve! Steve helped....well Steve carved the kids pumpkins for them. Sydney wanted a cat and Steven wanted a happy face pumpkin.

They did a great job helping me unwrap the carmel's, and only snuck a few. Every year gets better and better as the kids get older and we all have a great time together with our fun family tradition!

Time for hot chocolate!

I made a big thing of homemade hot chocolate that should last us through the cold winter..It's Freezing here!

My favorite part of the house! We plan on having the baby at home in the bath....Ive always wanted to have a water birth...............jk!

Our kids never take naps as you know, but while we were setting up the new house they couldnt resist. Sydney went in her room and said she was going to take a nap ( 2 days in a row...weird for her to do that, but it was nice :) . Tori fell asleep on my bed, and Steven fell asleep eating his snack. Im sure getting over the flu helped.

The Move....was crazy with 3 sick kids!

So the day we got the keys to the house..all 3 kids came down with chills, high fevers, vomiting, Diarrhea, cough, runny nose.....you get it. So We had to clean and get the house all ready before the carpets could get cleaned that night. The kids layed on the family room floor and watched dvds.

Kids Kids Kids

I am FINALLY starting to feel better and am really getting excited for the holidays....too bad all our decoration are in storage or it would be Christmas over here......jk more like Halloween! I'm so excited and ready to be in a house! Here is an update on the kids. They are doing great and enjoying our fun adventure!

Tori

I keep reading about other little kids getting into trouble and then I saw this picture and thought well Tori fits right in. She is always climbing up on the table to the counter and coloring on everything. She is also starting to talk more, and sleep less. Yes, ever since I took her "passy" away she has gone ballistic when its nap time or bed time. Before it was so nice, naps and bed time were so easy and relaxing with her, now its a huge loud fight. I am so scared the neighbors are going to call the cops on us. She screams and yells and kicks and when you think she should be giving up she lasts another hour! If I would have known it was going to be this bad I would have let her passy till she was eight! I remember a few people saying oh she will be over it in a couple days....I was really hopeing that would be the case, but knew it wouldnt be. Its been 2 months and its still a fight to get her to sleep at night.....can you sense a little frustration! Felt good to get that out...Its a good thing I love her so much!

Sydney

Getting ready for picture day!! Hmmm I think Ive turned into Mom with the curlers on picture day! Sydney is enjoying kindergarten and meeting lots of friends....she loves to learn and loves all the activities at school. I got to help out at her school the other day and it was so fun to see how she acted in class. I still cant believe she is in school now and I'm still trying to get used to it.

Steven

Steven has been enjoying being the oldest at home when Sydney is gone and plays really well with Tori. Although he still misses Sydney, and always gives her a huge hug when she gets off the bus. I love playing with just him if Tori decides to take a nap..which as only happened twice.! AND he is starting to quote movies all on his own...its so funny to see what he picks up on to quote. I love it!

Sydney's 1st day of Kindergarten!

Of course we had to take a million pictures. We just kept saying, "I cant believe she is in kindergarten!" I think ever parent says that with their first child. Sydney was so excited the whole morning and kept asking if we could have lunch because she knew after lunch she would get to go to the school bus.. I think she was excited for the bus the most (and liked the idea of not having to wear a seat belt). So when we went to the bus stop we were totally early and then a little girl from Sydney's primary class came and she had afternoon kindergarten too. So even though they weren't in the same class at least she had bus buddy... I always worry more about this stuff than her. She has been SOOO excited for school and always does really well with new things. She is definitely the adventurous one of the kids, but I cant say that about Steven! He is afraid of everything! So anyway She had a great day at school and came home tired, hot and thirsty. She said they had a tour of the school, watched a movie, had a story read to them, and played on the play ground. Steve had the day off so we got to have some good one on one time with the other two. Today I have a doc. appt while Sydney's at school. :)
